Rezidor group, the hotel’s parent company, has over 230 hotels worldwide. It focuses on creating hotel operations with the most advanced, energy saving, sustainable solutions possible. This initiative helps the chain to fulfil the growing expectations of its guests. At its hotel in Warsaw, the decision had been made to replace the incandescent bulbs with energy-saving ones.

LED hospitality lighting was a welcome arrival. To maintain a luxurious ambience, more than 570 incandescent lamps were replaced with MASTER LED bulbs. These lights fit in standard sockets and provide dimmable, warm light that radiates in all directions – perfect for decorative and ceiling lighting. Thanks to their long lifetime, the hotel can leave them on all day without disruption.

It was very important that guests of hotel were not inconvenienced. For that reason, all of the renovations were carried out at night. The successful upgrade has led to an 84% reduction in energy consumption in key areas. In addition, hotel management has received many positive reports about the ambience and the level of comfort provided by the new lights.

After completing the first stage of upgrades, return on investment has been calculated at only seven months. It is clear that the new lighting system will provide substantial savings for many years to come.
